Bandai Namco has sent its goodwill ambassador, Pac-Man, to cheer us up with making Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 free for a limited time.
Through the rest of this month, you can get Bandai Namco’s Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 for no charge. The deal was revealed on Twitter is a means to flatten the curve and protecting the public.
We’re asking fans to do their part and have #MoreFunForEveryone – at home!

Bandai Namco tweeted out that they’d be giving a helping hand and called Pac-Man their “goodwill ambassador.” This good gesture is valid for most copies of the game across its multiple platforms.
In a statement on the game, they expressed how this decision is to bring smiles to peoples’ faces and entertain those stuck at home.
Our vision is to follow our slogan word for word and provide – “more fun for everyone.” We are striving to provide entertainment that everyone can enjoy in the hope we can bring smiles and laughter to video game players throughout the world during this difficult time.
They aren’t the only one who’s gone on the frontlines to stop boredom, though. Earlier this month, Sony announced they’d be giving away action-adventure Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the calm and artsy Journey for a limited time as part of the Play At Home initiative.

It’s not too late to get these games, either. Sony gave a generous time to pick up Uncharted and Journey, which are free until May 5. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is free until May 10.
