Hey, guys… long time no see… (especially here) here’s an update on NowStation.
We are sorry for the lack of content and hope to make it up to you guys with this announcement. We are combining NowStation (along with our sister site/magazine, Nowtendo) with another up and coming magazine launching by our editor-in-chief in a bid to reach a wider audience.
This magazine will be bi-monthly and will feature not only some of our team here penning reviews, opinion pieces, and other content, but also new faces joining the ranks. We will also be covering a wider array of content including this thing we heard of… Xbox… not sure how good it is, but we’ll give it a shot, as well as Nintendo, Stadia, and eSports. Unlike NowStation and Nowtendo, FOV Magazine is going to start as a (physical and digital) magazine sold through – you guessed it – Magcloud. It will be chock full of lovely features, listicles, reviews of games new and old, guides, character profiles, previews, and more from this very team and beyond.
What does this mean for NowStation?
Well, what this means is we won’t be putting as much of a focus on the website, which was already on a decline as NowStation was made on a whim to allow those at Nowtendo an outlet to cover PlayStation content at their leisure. Content will solely be up to those who simply don’t want to aid in the production of the magazine and/or plan to pen content that has a shorter life than two months, such as news.
You can continue following it and likely see a pleasant article or two here and there or even a review penned by those who prefer to continue making web content over physical media for a broader magazine. So, the site won’t 100 percent die, just have a weird transitional period.
You can follow most of the sections right bloody now and keep up with the on-going production of the first issue.
